Adding a title to Bookvault and publishing a book through Bookvault Publishing are two different services.

If your book has already been published and registered independently, you can simply add the title to Bookvault and use the platform for printing, fulfilment and distribution.

If your book hasn't yet been published, Bookvault Publishing provides additional publishing services to get it registered and ready for sale.

What does Bookvault Publishing include?

When you publish through Bookvault Publishing, Bookvault can:

• Provide a registered ISBN under the Bookvault Publishing imprint
• Register your book with Nielsen
• Manage your Nielsen data
• Send the relevant book information to retailers
• Publish the book under the Bookvault Publishing imprint

These additional services are why a Publishing Project costs more than simply adding an already-published title to your Bookvault library.

What does simply adding a title include?

If you've already published and registered your book yourself, you don't need Bookvault to act as the publisher.

You can add the title directly to your Bookvault library and use Bookvault for services such as:

• Print-on-demand
• Order fulfilment
• Book distribution

When adding a standard title, the one-off setup payment covers setting up the title on the Bookvault platform and processing its files.

Does Bookvault Publishing prepare my book files?

No. Bookvault Publishing doesn't carry out file work for your book.

You'll still need to supply suitable print-ready cover and interior files.

Bookvault's file tools can then validate your supplied files before production.
