What is the difference between a standard and a toner printed title?

Our standard titles are typically printed on our inkjet device, which delivers excellent results for the vast majority of titles. However, we recommend utilizing our toner-based devices—for books with high ink coverage, solid or dark backgrounds, or other visually demanding elements.

We would always advise to get a printed copy of your book first on our standard print options before we upgrade to toner, as this does result in a lower print cost and also a much more efficient production workflow allowing for improved production times.
