Troubleshooting Your Bookvault Payhip Integration
Having trouble with your Bookvault Payhip integration? Check your installation, product setup, webhook and SKUs to make sure orders can reach Bookvault correctly.
If you've connected Payhip to Bookvault but your orders aren't appearing correctly, work through the checks below.
1. Check you only have one Payhip installation
In your Bookvault account:
- Go to Apps.
- Check the dropdown showing your connected Payhip installations.
- Make sure there is only one active Payhip connection.
If more than one Payhip connection appears, contact our support team so the duplicate connection can be removed.
2. Check your products are set up in Bookvault
Each book you want to sell through Payhip needs to be correctly configured.
In Bookvault:
- Find the ISBN or product listing you want to sell.
- Click the cart icon on the right.
- Select Add a Product.
- Complete the required information.
- Select the print facilities that can manufacture your book.
If you're setting the title up for pre-sale, you can also enter the appropriate pre-sale information during this process.
3. Check your Payhip webhook
A webhook is required so Bookvault can receive order information from Payhip.
In Payhip, go to:
Account Settings → Developer
Check that a webhook is listed.
If you can't see one or aren't sure whether the webhook is correct, contact our support team so we can confirm or provide your webhook URL.
4. Check your SKUs match
The SKU in Payhip must exactly match the SKU used for the product in Bookvault.
Your Bookvault SKU will be either:
- The ISBN you've entered for the book, or
- The 13-digit dummy ISBN generated by Bookvault.
Enter this same SKU in the corresponding product settings in Payhip.
