What Should I Use for IOSS Now That Taxamo Has Discontinued Its Service?
Taxamo discontinued its IOSS services after 30 December 2024. If you previously used Taxamo for IOSS, here's the alternative recommended by Bookvault.
Taxamo no longer provides its IOSS service, so if you previously relied on Taxamo, you'll need to have an alternative IOSS solution in place.
What does Bookvault recommend instead of Taxamo?
Bookvault recommends EAS as an alternative for IOSS integration.
You can find information about getting started with EAS here:
Do I need to update anything in Bookvault?
If you're using an IOSS code with Bookvault, you can add your IOSS details to your Bookvault profile so they can be used where applicable.

How is customs and taxes dealt with by Bookvault UK? DDU, DDP & IOSS
Bookvault currently sends overseas orders from its UK facility using DDU (Dispatch Duty Unpaid) rather than DDP. For qualifying EU eCommerce orders, an IOSS code can be used where the relevant VAT has been collected at checkout. IOSS isn't applicable where the commercial value is above €150 or where the shipment is to a business.
