I've changed my file, will my live order be printed with this file?

Find out which book files Bookvault uses for orders already in production and whether uploading a new file will update an existing live order.

When you place an order with Bookvault, the order is sent to print using the files that are uploaded and available at the time the order is placed.

Will updating my file change an existing order?

You should not assume that uploading a new file will update an order you've already placed.

There is a small chance that if you replace your file while the order is still at the Created or Acknowledged stage, the most recently uploaded file could be used.

However, we cannot guarantee this.

If you've noticed an issue with your file after placing an order, we recommend treating the existing order as though it will be produced using the file that was available when the order was originally placed.
