Bookvault binds books on the left-hand side.

If you want a book to appear top-bound, you can achieve this by rotating your files and setting the custom size accordingly.

For a top-bound book:

Rotate your interior so the intended top edge of the finished book sits along the left-hand side of the supplied file.
Enter the book dimensions with the height and width reversed.

For example, if you want a top-bound A5 book, use:

This allows the book to be produced in the intended orientation while still being bound along Bookvault’s standard left-hand edge.
