Bookvault is primarily a print-on-demand and distribution platform, rather than a traditional publisher.

Authors and publishers can use Bookvault to print, fulfil and distribute their books while remaining independently published. However, if you need help publishing and registering your book, you can also choose to publish through the Bookvault Publishing imprint.

Can I use Bookvault without publishing through Bookvault Publishing?

Yes.

If you've published and registered your book independently, you can still use Bookvault for printing and distribution.

You don't need to publish under the Bookvault Publishing imprint to use the Bookvault platform.

What happens if I publish through Bookvault Publishing?

If you choose Bookvault Publishing, your book can be published under the Bookvault Publishing imprint.

As part of this service, Bookvault handles your Nielsen data and sends the relevant feeds to retailers.

Bookvault Publishing does not carry out work on your book files, so your print-ready files still need to be prepared and supplied correctly.

How do I start a Bookvault Publishing project?

You can start the process through Publishing Projects within your Bookvault account.
