 How quickly does Bookvault process distribution changes?

Once your distribution setup or a distribution change has been completed, allow around 24 hours for the update to propagate through Bookvault’s systems and distribution feeds.

If a distribution or status change has not taken effect after 24 hours, contact Bookvault support so it can be checked.

How long will retailers take to show my book?

There is no single guaranteed timeframe.

Retailers and wholesalers control their own catalogue systems and decide when submitted information is processed and displayed.

This means your title may appear on some retailers before others.

Bookvault cannot guarantee exactly when a third-party retailer will make your title or updated information visible.

What if I have changed my price or book information?

Changes made through Manage Distribution may also take time to reach retailers.

For example, changes to a title’s selling price or other distribution information can take around 24 hours to be sent through Bookvault’s systems.

Third-party retailers may then take additional time to update their own listings.

Why might my book take longer to appear?

Delays can happen if:

• your ISBN metadata does not match your Bookvault information
• your distribution setup is incomplete
• the retailer has returned an error
• the retailer has not yet processed the latest information
• the title requires an existing retailer listing before Bookvault can connect its offer

Manage Distribution → View Listings

What if my book still isn’t appearing?

First, check that:

• your title is enabled for distribution
• your ISBN is correctly registered
• your metadata matches the information held by the relevant ISBN agency
• there are no errors under View Listings

If everything appears correct and the title is still not showing, contact Bookvault support with the ISBN and retailer details.
