How long until I should see my book appear for sale?

Once you set your title up and you've input the distribution information, it should take up to 24hrs for it to appear on The Great British Book Shop.

If the publication date in the future, it will appear on The Great British Book Shop as a Pre-Order.

For all other retailers, our system would send out the feed once the publication date is met and in some instances it can take up to 6 weeks for it show on these sites. However, it is usually quicker than this and can see them populated in 2 weeks.

You can check the status of your listings with Amazon and The Great British Bookshop via the portal. Head to 'Manage Distribution' and you'll then see the titles you have currently setup for distribution. If you then click the 'view listings' option, you will then be able to see if the listings for either Amazon or TGBBS are pending, in progress, active or encountering an issue. 

If Amazon have flagged an issue with the metadata we've tried to send to them, it will flag up as 'Action Needed' as you'll see below. You can click on the 'Listing Report' button to then view the error message generated from Amazon's side, this will indicate if there's some data you need to change in the distribution information.
