How do I work out my royalty / publisher compensation per book?

You can work out how much royalties / publisher compensation would be earned through our quote system before adding your title to Bookvault.

Put in all of the specifications of your book, the intended RRP and discount that will be made available to the retailers. It will then indicate how much you could earn selling through The Great British Book Shop and also the profits back from other retailers.

Alternatively, if you've already got a Bookvault account, you can check this directly via your portal.

Once logged in, go to the 'Manage Distribution' page and click the 'edit' button for the title you're wanting to check/setup.

If you then scroll down to the retail section, you will see a section to input your RRP and a slider to adjust the wholesale discount available for your book. Once you've filled this in, on the righthand side the system will display your estimated profit after print with Amazon/Retailers and also the profit you'd make selling on our store.
