How do I supply my files for Sprayed Edges?

BookvaultBespoke allows you to decorate your titles with entirely custom sprayed edges, find out how to provide the correct files.

Due to the delicate nature of bespoke options, we strongly recommend ordering a proof before placing a full production run to ensure you are happy with your printed works.

When selecting sprayed edges, you will have the option to select either a custom design, or solid colour, for the solid colour you will select a RGB value, it is important to note that your RGB code can appear different to your final product, as colours on a screen will always differ from printed products. Sprayed edges will be affected by factors such as your book having cream paper, or having full bleed interior artwork pages, as the machinery will be printing onto a surface that is not white.

You can download your sprayed edge template when getting a quote, or when you have added a title with your chosen specifications, it is important to note that this feature is only available on hardback and paperback titles.

Please note, BookvaultBespoke products are solely available from our UK print facility, they are available to be shipped worldwide, or sold on your own direct store via integrations.

This template will detail the bleed area as blue borders, similarly to your cover file, it is important to extend your artwork to fill all of these blue areas, in order to avoid any unintended colour markings. These bleed areas are there as a fail-safe, therefore it is not advised that you place any major aspects of your design here as they will act as an overflow, similar to your cover design as it has a good chance it will be cut off.
