Do Different Book Formats Need Separate Titles on Bookvault?

Yes. If you want to offer your book in different formats or versions, each version needs to be set up as a separate title on Bookvault.

What counts as a different version?

For example, if you want to offer the same book as:

• Paperback
• Hardback
• Black-and-white edition
• Full-colour edition

you would need to create four separate titles on Bookvault.

This allows each version to have its own specifications and be managed separately within your Bookvault library.

What if I just want to change my existing book?

You don't always need to create another title.

If you already have a title on Bookvault and simply want to change or experiment with its specifications, you can edit the existing title instead.

Go to View Your Titles, find the relevant book and select either the pencil icon or:

More Details → Edit Title

You can then update the available specifications for that title.

If you change something that affects your supplied files — such as the page count, binding or book size — your files will automatically go through validation again.
