Will My Customer Receive a Dispatch or Tracking Email From Bookvault?

Find out how dispatch notifications and tracking information work when Bookvault fulfils orders from your connected eCommerce store.

No. Bookvault doesn't communicate directly with your customers when an order is dispatched.

Instead, once an order has been dispatched, Bookvault automatically sends the dispatch information and tracking details, where applicable, back to your connected eCommerce store.

How will my customer know their order has been dispatched?

You can use the notification features available through your eCommerce platform to automatically email customers when their order has been dispatched.

Bookvault sends the relevant dispatch information back to your store, which can then be used in the emails you send to your customers.

Will tracking information be included?

If tracking information is available for the delivery service used, this information is also sent back to your connected eCommerce store when the order is dispatched.

You can then use your store's notification settings to provide those tracking details to your customer.

How do I set up automatic dispatch emails?

Automated customer emails are configured through your eCommerce platform rather than Bookvault.

If you're unsure how to configure these notifications, check the support documentation for your eCommerce provider or contact their support team.

Platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix provide tools for managing customer order notifications.

Does Bookvault contact my customers directly?

No. Your customer's communication remains between you and your customer.

Bookvault fulfils the order and passes the relevant dispatch information back to your connected store rather than sending a separate Bookvault dispatch email to your customer.
