Can I Cancel a Bookvault Order?

You can cancel an order from within the Bookvault portal if it has not progressed too far into production.

This applies to both Bookvault UK and Partner orders.

How do I cancel an order?

Go to your orders in the Bookvault portal.

Find the order you want to cancel, then select:

Actions → Cancel

You should only be able to cancel the order yourself while it is at either the:

• Created
• Approved

stage.

What if the order has already moved past Approved?

Once an order has progressed beyond the Created or Approved stage, it may already have started moving through production.

At this point, you won't be able to cancel the order yourself through the Bookvault portal. Contact the Bookvault support team as soon as possible so we can check whether the order can still be stopped.

If production has already started, production costs may still apply, even if the order can be cancelled. Where applicable, the shipping cost will normally be refunded because the order will no longer need to be dispatched.

Alternatively, you can choose to allow the order to continue through production and be dispatched as originally placed.

Because Bookvault orders can progress into production quickly, contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order.

What happens to my payment if I cancel an order?

When an order is cancelled, the amount being returned is normally added to your Bookvault account balance rather than automatically refunded to the original payment method.

You can view your available balance and account transactions from the Payments page in your Bookvault account.

If you'd prefer the amount to be returned to your original payment method instead, contact Bookvault support to request a refund.

Where can I check my order status?

You can check the current stage of your order from the View An Order section of your Bookvault account.
