Can I Exclude Amazon From Bookvault Distribution?
Find out whether you can exclude Amazon while distributing your book through Bookvault's wider retail network.
At present, you can't exclude Amazon individually when opting into Bookvault's wider distribution network.
When setting up your book for distribution, you can choose between:
- Making your book available through Bookvault's wider retail distribution network, which includes Amazon.
- Making your book available through The Great British Bookshop only, without opting into the wider retail network.
Can Bookvault manually remove my Amazon listing?
Yes. If you're using Bookvault's wider distribution network, the Bookvault team can manually remove listings that have been sent to Amazon.
However, this doesn't permanently exclude Amazon from your distribution settings.
If you later update your distribution information, the feed may be sent to Amazon again and the listing could reappear.
What if I don't want my book on Amazon at all?
If you want to ensure your book isn't distributed to Amazon through Bookvault, the current option is to make the title available through The Great British Bookshop without opting into Bookvault's wider distribution network.
