What is cover board?

Cover board is our standard paperback-style cover stock. It is a flexible 250gsm card, thicker than the internal pages, similar to the cover you would find on a typical paperback book in a library or bookshop. It is not a hardback or rigid cover.

This option is available for perfect bound, saddle stitched, wiro and spiral bound books. At our UK production facility, the cover can be printed on both the inside and outside. When produced by our print partners, printing is available on the outside only.
