What binding methods do you offer?

Saddle stitched booklets (staple bound): This binding method is very popular and common in magazines. The sheets of the booklet or brochure are gathered together, one inside the other, and then fixed through the centre with two wire staples. Due to machinery, all books that are done as saddle stitched would be printed on our toner devices which does give a significant increase to cost especially with colour books.

Perfect bound - widely used on paperback books and premium magazines with a high page count. With this method the pages and cover are glued together to create a square spine. This is our most common finish type, we produce 1,000’s of paperback and dispatch the same day!

Case Bound - PPC - This type of binding is used to create hardback books with a heavy board cover that is printed on and then attached to the book with glued endpapers.

Case Bound - Cloth - This type of binding is used to create hardback books with a heavy board cover with a colour wibalin / leatherette cover wrapped around it and then attached to the book with glued endpapers. This finish title also allows for a more premium finishing with foil blocking.

Wire-o bound - Coated metal wires bind your document together, allowing the pages to lay flat when open. This is ideal for journals, diaries or notepads. As standard the wire is black.

Spiral bound - Plastic spiral coil bind your document together, allowing the pages to lay flat when open. This is ideal for journals, diaries or notepads. As standard the coil is black.
