Can I set my book up for pre-order through my eCommerce store?
We support pre-orders across all of our eCommerce integrations, including Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, and Payhip. This means you can offer upcoming titles for sale on your store before they're officially released.
When setting up or connecting your products, you’ll simply need to toggle the ‘Pre-Sale’ option and select the release date. Once a customer places a pre-order, the order will transmit from your store to Bookvault as usual—but it won’t be processed for printing until closer to the selected release date (see screenshot below).
If you’ve uploaded temporary or placeholder files, we recommend making any updates at least one week before the release to ensure everything is up to date when printing begins.
Please Note - if an order includes both standard items and a pre-order, the entire order will be held until the pre-order is ready. As shipping is paid in a single transaction, we don’t split orders into multiple consignments.
