Can I produce custom or personalised books with Bookvault?

Yes - you can produce personalised or custom-generated books through Bookvault, as long as the personalisation of the files is handled on your side before sending them to us.

Bookvault is primarily designed for authors and publishers producing standard, non-changing book files, but with the right setup you can use our system for personalised book printing.

How to produce personalised/custom books

If you generate the personalised files yourself and simply need Bookvault to print and ship them to your customers, this can be achieved through our API integration.

Using the API, you can fully automate the process of:

Creating titles dynamically
Uploading your personalised files
Triggering orders directly from your store or system

Do you provide developer support?

Bookvault does not offer hands-on support for connecting your platform to our API.
We strongly recommend hiring a web developer experienced with APIs/REST APIs to perform the integration.

If you or your developer need clarification related to the API documentation itself, you are welcome to reach out - but please note:

We cannot support attempts to connect your store using AI tools
For reliability and correct setup, a developer with API knowledge is strongly recommended

Costs for personalised titles

Bookvault normally charges a £19.95 title setup fee for each new book added to the portal. The production and shipping costs would remain the same that you can calculate from our online quote tool linked here; https://quote.bookvault.app/

If you plan to generate personalised titles regularly, we highly recommend upgrading to the Pro Plan (£89.95/month), which includes:

Unlimited title uploads
No title setup fees

Without the Pro Plan, you may need to factor the £19.95 setup fee into the cost of each personalised book.
