Book Collections let you group your titles into themed sets on your BookVault Shop, so customers can browse by topic instead of scrolling your entire catalog. This guide covers naming a collection, adding a thumbnail and banner images, selecting the books to include, and publishing it — about a minute from start to finish.

Step 1: Open the Create New Collection Window

On the BookVault Shop management page, find the Book Collections card and click + Create Collection in the top-right corner. This opens the Create New Collection window, where you'll build your collection's details and pick which books belong in it.

Step 2: Name Your Collection and Add a Description

Under Collection Details, type a name into the Collection Name field, then write a short description (up to 140 characters) in the box below it — this is the blurb customers see introducing the collection.

Step 3: Add a Thumbnail and Banner Images

Scroll down within the window to upload artwork for the collection: a Collection Thumbnail (JPG, max 5MB, 283×350px), a Desktop Banner (JPG, max 2MB, 1200–3000px wide by 350px tall), and a Mobile Banner (JPG, max 1MB, 600×312.5px). Click each field's Choose File button to upload the matching image.

Step 4: Select the Books to Include

In the Select Books for this Collection panel on the right, search for titles or scroll the list, then click a book's cover to select it. A green checkmark and Selected label confirm it's been added — selected books also appear in the Selected Products tray at the bottom of the window.

Step 5: Create the Collection

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the character limit for a collection's short description?

140 characters. A live counter under the field (for example, "36 / 140") tracks how much you've used as you type.

What image sizes does BookVault require for the thumbnail and banners?

The Collection Thumbnail accepts a JPG up to 5MB at 283×350px. The Desktop Banner accepts a JPG up to 2MB, 1200–3000px wide by 350px tall. The Mobile Banner accepts a JPG up to 1MB at 600×312.5px.

Do I have to upload a thumbnail and banners to create a collection?

The upload fields aren't marked as required, so you can publish a collection without them — but adding them helps your collection look complete on your BookVault Shop.

Can I add more than one book to a collection?

Yes. Search for additional titles in the Select Books panel and click each cover to add it. Every book you select appears in the Selected Products tray at the bottom of the window.

Can I remove a book after selecting it?

Yes. Each selected book in the Selected Products tray has a small red delete icon — click it to remove that title before creating the collection.

Where do I find my collection after creating it?

It appears under Your Collections on the Book Collections card, where you can revisit it any time to review or update it.

How do customers see my collections?

Collections organize your listed books on your BookVault Shop, giving customers a themed way to browse instead of scrolling your full catalog.
