How long does it take to print my book with Bookvault and our global print partners?

Production times vary depending on where the order comes from and which printing location fulfils it. Below you’ll find the full breakdown for Bookvault (UK) and our global print partners.

UK Printing

Orders placed directly on the Bookvault platform

When placing an order, you can choose from three turnaround options, the estimated dispatch date and any additional fees will be displayed at that point:

Standard

Estimated 5–7 working days
Often dispatched sooner
Cut-off time: 3pm UK time

Express

Aimed to dispatch within 3 working days
Cut-off time: 7am UK time

Priority

Aimed to dispatch same day or next day
Cut-off time: 7am UK time
If an order is placed after 7am, printing will not begin until the next working day, meaning dispatch may be next day.

Bookvault Bespoke Orders

We aim to dispatch Bespoke orders within 15 working days.

PLEASE NOTE:

All turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees.
Production times may extend during peak periods (such as Christmas).
An estimated dispatch date will be shown at checkout for all orders.
Priority service has limits based on daily production volume and binding type.
Casebound (hardback) books cannot be produced using priority service.

Retailer Orders (e.g., orders placed by customers through bookstores or distributors)

Retailer-sourced orders are normally dispatched same day or next day.
While not guaranteed, we work hard to meet these timelines, as falling behind may result in retailers or bookshops marking down our reliability, which can negatively impact sales opportunities.

eCommerce Store Orders (Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Payhip)

Orders coming from connected eCommerce platforms are routed into an expedited production workflow at no additional cost:

Aimed to dispatch within 3 working days
May extend to 5 working days during busy periods

This applies to all supported platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, and Payhip.

US, Canada & Australia (Print Partner Facilities)

Our print partners use consistent turnaround times, regardless of the order source:

Paperbacks: estimated 3–5 working days
Hardbacks: estimated 5–7 working days
Mixed orders (paperbacks + hardbacks) follow the longer timeframe.

As with UK facilities, these times may extend during peak seasons.
