How Are Orders From My Connected Store Paid For in Bookvault?
Understand how payment works when orders are sent to Bookvault from Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix or Payhip.
When you connect an online store such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix or Payhip to Bookvault, orders can be passed through to Bookvault for fulfilment.
However, the payment your customer makes through your online store is separate from the payment required to produce and ship the order through Bookvault.
Does Bookvault take payment from my online store?
No.
Connecting your store to Bookvault does not mean Bookvault takes the production and shipping cost directly from the payment your customer made through your website.
Your customer pays you through your own store and payment provider.
The corresponding Bookvault fulfilment order is then paid for separately through your Bookvault account.
How do I pay for connected-store orders?
Your Bookvault orders can be paid for using the payment options available on your Bookvault account.
If you have a saved payment card set up for the relevant currency, it can be used to pay for orders sent through your connected store.
Why is my store order showing as unpaid?
If an order has reached Bookvault but is showing as unpaid, check that you have a valid payment method available in your Bookvault account.
Receiving payment from your customer through Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix or Payhip does not automatically mean the Bookvault fulfilment cost has been paid.
Is the money my customer pays transferred to Bookvault?
No.
Payments made by your customers stay within the payment setup used by your online store.
Bookvault only handles the separate cost of printing and fulfilling the order through your Bookvault account.
