Guide - Downloading Bookvault templates

Getting your next title ready for Bookvault and want to make sure your files are correctly sized? You can download Bookvault sizing templates based on your book specifications to help prepare your files for upload.

You can download templates using the Bookvault Quote Tool, from an existing title in the Bookvault portal, or through a Publishing Project.

Downloading templates from the Bookvault Quote Tool

If you haven't added your title to Bookvault yet, you can generate your templates using the Bookvault Quote Tool.

Enter your book specifications into the Quote Tool:

https://quote.bookvault.app/

Once you've entered all of your specifications, continue to the summary page, where you'll find the option to download your templates.

 

Bookvault will then begin generating the necessary templates based on the specifications you've selected.

Depending on your book specification, you may receive:

  • Dust Jacket template
  • Cover template
  • Interior template

Once the templates have been generated, select Download. You can then use these templates when preparing your files for upload to Bookvault.

 

 

 Downloading templates from the Bookvault portal

If you already have a Bookvault account, you can also download sizing templates for titles you've already added.

Navigate to View Your Titles in your Bookvault account and find or search for the title you need.

Select Files to open the file management page. From here, select Sizing Templates.

 Bookvault will then generate the necessary templates for your title based on its specifications. 

 

 

 How to download templates for a Publishing Project

If you're using a Bookvault Publishing Project, you can also generate and download your book templates from your account.

Once signed into Bookvault, navigate to the Publishing Projects dashboard and select Upload Now.

 You'll then be taken to the file management page. Select Sizing Templates. 

Bookvault will generate the appropriate templates based on your specific book sizing and specifications.

Simply select the relevant template and click Download.
